Role Overview:
As a Finance Collections Agent, you will be responsible for managing overdue payments on bridging loans and ensuring that collections processes are handled efficiently and professionally. Your role will involve maintaining strong relationships with clients, managing negotiations, and working to resolve financial arrears.
Collections Agent Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and follow up on overdue payments for bridging loans.
- Maintain and update accurate records of collections activity.
- Communicate with clients in a professional and clear manner to resolve outstanding debts.
- Work with the legal team and other departments to manage payment arrangements and legal proceedings if necessary.
- Negotiate repayment plans with clients, offering flexible solutions where appropriate.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues related to overdue payments.
- Monitor and report on collections activity, providing updates to senior management.
- Ensure all actions comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Collections Agent Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in collections or debt recovery, ideally within the finance or lending sector.
- Knowledge of bridging finance products is advantageous, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases at once.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
