Sonic Summary

We are seeking a General Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs.
The ideal candidate should have a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification and a minimum of 6 months experience working in a school.
This long-term position is located in Newcastle Upon Tyne and has the potential to become permanent, starting ASAP.
The minimum pay rate is GBP 85 per day, with working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
Applicants must hold the right to work in the UK and have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate.

Support and scaffold children in the classroom.
Prepare resources with the teacher.
Work effectively in Partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Level 2/Level 3 childcare qualification.
6 months minimum experience working in a school
GCSE English and Maths grade C
