The School and Role

A lovely Primary School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their enthusiastic team from January 2025. The successful applicant will be working within a Reception class and expected to deliver a mix of general and 1:1 support throughout the course of the week. Experience of supporting SEND pupils would be beneficial for this role. This is a long-term role with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

- Preferably have experience of supporting in Early Years.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Be able to support pupils through offering differentiated learning.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly and enthusiastic personality.
