Our client, a leader in electrical control panel design, build, and testing, serves a variety of industries, including oil & gas, machinery, energy, and food & beverage. Due to continuous growth, they are looking to expand their team.

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customer projects, overseeing them from concept to completion. This position involves a blend of industrial electrical engineering, control system design, and project management.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison for customer projects
Design and draft industrial electrical control systems
Develop and manage project timelines and deliverables
Create detailed electrical CAD drawings
Specify and source components to meet design requirements
Prepare quotes and technical documentation
Ensure projects meet industry standards and client specifications

Experience/Qualifications:
Proficiency in industrial electrical control system design
Experience with industrial control panels
Skilled in using electrical CAD software for drafting and drawing
Ability to prepare accurate quotes and technical documentation
Familiarity with machinery control systems

Desirable:
Professional registration (IEng or CEng)
Experience with PLC software
Knowledge of functional safety standards
Experience with wiring or site installation
Experience with system or machinery commissioning
Understanding of mechanical engineering principles
