Join Our Team as an Electrical Design Engineer in Newcastle!
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team located in the vibrant city of Newcastle. The company specializes in subsea equipment, making this role perfect for those with relevant experience or interest.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design
- Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience using 3D Inventor
- Electrical schematic drawing
- Knowledge of the offshore/subsea engineering industry is beneficial but not essential
- Knowledge of HV and LV systems
- Experience with Hazardous Area Classification during system design
- Experience with Safety circuit resets
- Variable drive systems knowledge is beneficial but not essential
Communication skills:Excellent communication abilities will enable you to liaise effectively within cross-functional teams while delivering high-quality project work efficiently.
Technical skills: Experience creating schematics diagrams which can help identify any potential design issues before they arise is essential due to its impact on reliability & performance at later stages .
