JOB – Electrical Design EngineerLOCATION – Newcastle TERM - Permanent SALARY - £35,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience A Newcastle based engineering company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.  The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 
  • HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Control System design – through to commissioning
  • Strong understanding & experience working with industrial control panels
  • Proficient with AutoCAD electrical drawing package
  • PLC programming from scratch
  • Full UK driving license
The Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:
  • Creating & developing technical drawings, schematics & BoMs
  • Attending site visits when required
  • Liaising with customers & other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times
