The below job description will outline this position of: Electrical Field Service Engineer (Subsea Equipment)

Typically, this person will work as one of the key members of the companies Electrical Field Services Team providing hands on technical support and operations advice for the full product range of ROVs, trenchers and ploughs in the factory and at various customer locations worldwide as and when required. You will be working on You will be key in developing good working relationships with customers and pro-actively promote the equipment and services offered by the business. The products are electrically controlled, hydraulically operated mechanical subsea equipment)

Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Field Service Engineer (Subsea Equipment):

  • You will (in no particular order as the day-to-day duties vary): Work in the factory assisting with product completion and Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Installation & Commission of the product - this could be globally
  • Be part of the mobilisation team to assist with both product repair or on the site standby representative (this could be on a vessel at sea) - when at sea, the main objectives are to keep the equipment fully functional, repair it if it breaks plus to provide some operational support and advice to customers operations personnel.
  • Manage and oversee the Sea Trials of the product
  • Final Acceptance Testing of the range of products
  • Willingness to travel globally - at times, very short notice
  • Confident at report writing

Qualifications and requirement for the Electrical Field Service Engineer (Subsea Equipment):

  • Experience working with ROVs, Trenchers or Ploughs
  • A formal technical qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Full driving licence
  • UK Passport
