- Title: Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Location: Newcastle to Darlington - NEFRA - North East Fire and Rescue Authority
- Contract: Full time, permanent
- Salary: £37,000 per annum plus company van and fuel card
- Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday. Standard hours 8.30am to 5pm
- On call rota: 1 in 4 week covering 24 hours. Working 9:45am to 6pm when on call - standby payment plus relevant hourly rate
Main Duties:
- Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and Redcar and Cleveland Council.
- Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or as assistant to a maintenance tradesperson on:
- Service and reactive repair of lighting and power distribution systems, motors and pumps.
- Competent on BMS control systems and PAT tester
- Undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group
Candidate Qualifications/Experience:
- Qualified Electrician with reasonable experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting.
- City & Guilds or equivalent
- 18th Edition City and Guilds
- Experience in electrical power distribution systems, and preferred experience in electrical testing.
- Valid UK Driving Licence required.
- DBS Check before starting on the job
