Panel Wirer

We are seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join our client’s growing team due to an increase in workload. The successful candidate will be involved in the assembly of electrical control panels, contributing to the company’s expansion in the street lighting industry and the Electric Vehicle Charging market.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Fit electrical components and wiring, working from schematics and drawings.
  • Assemble power distribution units using hand tools and power tools.
  • Conduct elements of panel testing as required.
  • Understand and work to electrical drawings with attention to detail.
  • Deal with high and low volume wiring assemblies.
  • Engage in fault finding and repair activities.
  • Manage time effectively and multitask across various projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Essential experience working with Single and Three Phase.
  • Highly desirable experience with busbar assemblies.
  • Highly desirable previous panel wiring and electrical testing experience.
  • Highly desirable to hold the 18th Edition certification.
  • Preferred to have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools.
  • Ability to understand electrical drawings.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Creativity, problem-solving aptitude, and excellent attendance levels.
