Electrician

Our client is looking for experienced commercial and industrial electricians to help with their projects across the North East.

Job Description

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Working closely with architects and engineers to ensure that all of the building’s systems are properly integrated into one another.
• Installing wiring and electrical components, like switches and lights.
• Maintaining electrical systems.
• Inspecting electrical systems to be sure they work, are safe and are up to code.
• Diagnosing and fixing problems in wiring or electrical components.
• Reading and using technical drawings.
• Achieving compliance with national electrical safety standards and regulations for electrical systems.
• Completing work orders and keeping track of tools and supplies utilized
• Full electrics from the ground up on some projects

Personal Specification

• Must have commercial or industrial experience.
• Must be Time served Electrician
• JIB/ECS is essential
• IPAF is essential
• 17th/ 18th Edition desirable
• 2391 Testing and Inspecting desirable
• Must drive and have their own transport is essential
