Sonic Summary

The position is for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician located between Newcastle and Darlington.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of up to £37,000 per annum, along with a company van and fuel card.
Candidates are expected to have reasonable experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting and must hold relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds and 18th Edition City and Guilds.
The job requires undertaking planned and responsive maintenance work, including servicing lighting and power distribution systems, and a valid UK driving licence is necessary.
An on-call rota is included, with hours of 9:45 am to 6 pm when on call, covering 24 hours with standby payment.

Job Details

Title: Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Location: Newcastle to Darlington
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: upto £37,000 per annum plus company van and fuel card
Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday. Standard hours 8.30am to 5pm
On call rota: 1 in 4 week covering 24 hours. Working 9:45am to 6pm when on call - standby payment plus relevant hourly rate

Main Duties:

Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and Redcar and Cleveland Council.
Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or as assistant to a maintenance tradesperson on:
Service and reactive repair of lighting and power distribution systems, motors and pumps.
Competent on BMS control systems and PAT tester
Undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group

Candidate Qualifications/Experience:

Qualified Electrician with reasonable experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting.
City & Guilds or equivalent
18th Edition City and Guilds
Experience in electrical power distribution systems, and preferred experience in electrical testing.
Valid UK Driving Licence required.
DBS Check before starting on the job
