Class 2 ADR Driver

Position: Class 2 ADR Driver with Aviation Clearance
Location: Newcastle Airport, Newcastle, UK
Duration: 1 week holiday cover initially from 22nd April 2025

Pay rate: 16 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Transport hazardous materials in compliance with ADR regulations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods.
• Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Report any incidents or issues to management promptly.
• Aviation clearance is essential.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• 24 months HGV 2 driving experience.
• Ability to provide a 5-year background check and clear DBS (Criminal Record Check).
• A clean driving licence OR no more than 6 points.
• A valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digi Tacho card.
