Due to huge investment this team are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join them as the business goes through a technical transformation. This business is at the forefront of developments in the delivery of security and integrity of verification technologies internationally. This team are passionate about developing innovative security solutions and are always looking to be proactive in their approach.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and maintain security within the operational IT environments.
  • Assist in the administration of user accounts including creation, transfer, permissions, and leavers, ensuring all actions are delivered effectively
  • Utilise security tools for appropriate monitoring, logging, investigating, and resolving security issues, risks, or preventative measures.
  • Test and push patches to servers and desktops
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis for specific security incidents
  • Contribute to the resolution of action plans relating to standards (e.g., ISO27001, ISO90001).

Key experience and skills required:

Technology Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Deploy software patches
  • Manage antivirus solutions
  • Handle Privilege Access Management
  • Oversee Internet Cloud Proxy and Email Security Platform
  • Monitor SIEM, Vulnerability Scanner, and Microsoft 365 Security

Security Assessments and Incident Handling:

  • Review and act on ITHC and vulnerability assessments
  • Investigate and report on IT security incidents

Advisory and Training:

  • Advise on emerging threats and vulnerabilities
  • Customize vendor security best practices
  • Train end-users on security policies and best practices

Operational and Strategic Contributions:

  • Prepare team metrics, analyse trends, and recommend preventive measures
  • Support security audits
  • Assist Live Services team in maintaining stable environments
