The Opportunity
This position is for a Microsoft Security Engineer who will enforce security around data and its management across the organisation. Int his role there is a focus on Microsoft Purview and related security tools. The role involves working closely with business teams to ensure compliance and security for unstructured data across the Microsoft stack.

The Role
The Microsoft Security Engineer will focus on optimising data protection and compliance using Microsoft Purview and DLP strategies, with a primary emphasis on managing unstructured data (e.g., documents). This is an innovative role where the specialist will drive data management improvements, with a focus on security, within a hybrid working model.

Your Skills Required


  • Microsoft Purview Expertise: Experience in designing and deploying data management and labelling strategies within Microsoft Purview.
  • Compliance and Security Knowledge: Strong background in data protection and compliance strategies, especially for unstructured data.
  • Microsoft 365 Security Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and other security tools for managing infrastructure security.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and collaborate with business teams on data security and compliance efforts.
