Operational Risk & Remediation Associate

BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Operational Risk & Remediation Associate to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Our client is looking for driven people who can join the QC team. The team will be responsible for the centralisation and standardisation of all QC across the operation along with the development of appropriate MI to be output across the business.

What will I be doing?

  • Reviewing submitted tasks requesting for corrective action to be taken on accounts where an error may have occurred.
  • Using internal system to calculate account positions and the differences in amounts between different dates.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and the management team to agree resolutions.
  • Completing any required remedial work which has been approved, including the movement of funds within the business.
  • Production and dissemination of control reports and management information from the internal systems and logs.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working within Finance or another numbers-based industry.
  • Excellent mathematical, and literacy skills.
  • Positive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude to problem solving.
