Eventus Recruitment are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant (PA) to work for a Property Developer, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear. This is a permanent job position that can be offered on a part-time basis (2 or 3 days per week). Other benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and free parking.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Personal Assistant (PA) will be responsible for organising and co-ordinating the professional responsibilities of the Managing Director of a number of property development businesses and a law firm. Specific duties may include, although will not be limited to:

  • Coordinating and managing the MD’s appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Screening and responding to emails, drafting communications, and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Organising internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points.
  • Assisting with property development projects, tracking progress, and liaising with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Drafting and formatting reports, presentations, and contracts as required.
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, investors, and industry professionals on behalf of the MD.
  • Managing invoices, expense reports, and budgets related to office operations and development projects.
  • Conducting property market research, gathering industry insights, and compiling relevant data for decision-making.
  • Handling sensitive company and client information with professionalism and discretion.

Person Specification

Applications are sought from experienced Personal Assistants (PA) and general secretarial/administrative staff who are used to working one-on-one for a busy professional. You will also:

  • Have excellent IT skills particularly including EXCEL and/or database systems
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a professional telephone manner
  • Be very organised and used to organising and setting up filing/organisation systems for a busy professional
