To operate machinery and following cleaning-in-process processes in the safest and most effective manner, driving activity to maintain and improve performance standards. To be accountable for, and to achieve, optimum performance from designated area.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment.
- Maintain machinery.
- Store products and materials.
- Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift.
- Report on defective products or machinery.
- Following SOPs for cleaning machinery and equipment
- Organising current stock based on date
- Setting up machines to specific petametres using SOP’s
- General housekeeping of the area you will be working in including clean as you go
- Always adhering to H&S
- Carrying out any other tasks required by the business
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a similar role - production/packing experience in the food industry is desired
- A self-starter who can use own initiative
- A good attention to detail, ensuring information is accurate and reliable
- A person with good timekeeping that will attend work on time
