  • Group Finance Analyst
affinitas is a UK headquartered platform investing in and operating K-12 education assets internationally with significant private equity backing.  Formed in 2022 the business now comprises a global group of 19 schools with over 14,000 students. The group has ambitions for further acquisitions and an aim of achieving a >€1bn valuation within the next 5 years.   To help support future growth the business is seeking to recruit a Group Finance Analyst to support our strategic decision making processes.  The position has potential for real development and growth over the next few years as the business plan becomes reality and the organisation continues to scale. With an initial focus on MI reporting the role will grow over time into something broader including management accounting, finance operations, systems development and treasury. At a detailed level responsibilities will include 
  • Group month end process using Adaptive insights including consolidation 
  • Monthly reporting for management and investors 
  • Forecasting and budgeting 
  • Cash flow forecasting and Treasury support 
Potential candidates are likely to be on the route to qualification, should be bright and engaging, with strong Excel and analytical skills. Currently working as a financial/management accountant or analyst you should have exposure to an ERP environment, accompanied by some basic systems work.  Although fully remote, there is a requirement to meet with your north east based line manager on a weekly basis, ideally in the Newcastle area, and for occasional wider travel, typically to either London, or international education sites. The salary will be competitive with a 10% target annual bonus and matched pension scheme. This really is an outstanding opportunity in a high growth business, working with people of the highest calibre, in a role that will provide both personal and career growth.
