NW Tech is partnering with a company establishing a technical team in Newcastle city centre to support customers in financial services and wealth management.
The role involves aggregating risks on a fund level, performing risk analytics, and generating monthly reports, along with managing regulatory analytics.
Candidates should possess familiarity with risk concepts, data analysis experience, and proficiency in Excel and Python, along with a strong attention to detail.
A minimum of 2 years of experience and a 2:1 degree from a Russell Group University are required for this position.

The CompanyNW Tech are working with a company who are building a technical team out of a new office in Newcastle city centre. Supporting customers in financial services and wealth management this will be a demanding work environment, The RoleWorking with the risk team you will be expected to:

Aggregate risks on a fund level, perform risk analytics and generate monthly reports
Work with internal teams to validate the completeness and accuracy of required data
Manage regulatory analytics for the client
Perform rigorous checks to ensure the accuracy of generated reports
Investigate and present process improvements to business stakeholders, and if approved assist in their implementation

The RequirementsYou can have an impact on day one and work on a variety of initiatives alongside a team of talented people. Working closely with the customer you will also learn from industry experts on how financial markets and world economics work. Key requirements include:

Familiarity with risk concepts such as the Greeks
Data analysis experience Proficiency in Excel and Python
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for data discrepancies and inaccuracies
A minimum of 2:1 degree, ideally from a Russell Group University
