As Finance Manager, you will lead the finance team, overseeing daily operations and providing analytical reports to the MD and Senior Leadership Team. You will guide the Senior Leadership Team in ensuring comprehensive financial oversight of the full P&L while maintaining high standards of accuracy and leadership

Description

Finance Duties and Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Finance Department Oversight: Lead the finance team, set goals, and implement a framework to ensure objectives are met.

  • Budget and Forecast Management: Prepare budgets, monitor cash flow, and produce monthly forecasts.

  • Financial Reporting: Provide monthly P&Ls, income, and expenditure forecasts, ensuring financial processes align with company policies.

  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Deliver financial reports and data to support strategic decisions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Oversee stakeholder relationships, manage PO requests, and ensure accurate invoicing and tracking.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Manage and mentor the Finance & Administration team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and continuous professional development. Lead by example to foster a collaborative, efficient, and effective team environment.

  • Board Pack Preparation: Compile and present the board pack, delivering comprehensive financial updates and key insights to the Senior Leadership Team.

Profile

  • Highly skilled in financial management with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of managing budgets and P&L accounts within a large organisation.

  • Computer literate, proficient in Excel, SharePoint, and Word.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and prioritisation skills, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy under pressure.

  • Strong team player, capable of leading and motivating a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to present effectively in management meetings.

  • A qualification in finance (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) is highly preferred but not essential.
