My client is seeking an enthusiastic Paraplanning Manager to join their growing team in Tyne and Wear. This role is perfect for someone passionate about financial planning and looking to advance their career in financial services.

You will lead the paraplanning team, providing guidance and training, and ensuring high performance. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving suitability reports and financial plans, conducting product research, assessing client data for planning opportunities, and collaborating with advisers. You will also prepare financial documents, use planning tools, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Additional duties involve managing workflows, staying updated on industry trends, identifying client opportunities, and resolving team performance issues. You’ll conduct quality control audits, collaborate with compliance and legal teams, and assist senior management with strategic initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning software is required, and a strong understanding of pensions, investments, tax planning, and regulatory compliance will be highly beneficial. A Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) is desirable but not essential.
