As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment at client locations. The successful candidate will have experience in the service and repair of forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural machinery, or military plant and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and servicing of forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with the service manager and clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the maintenance and repair of forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural machinery, or military plant and vehicles.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
