Timber and corrugated products are currently the primary offerings in their portfolio.RoleThis role involves managing some existing accounts in the North East while primarily driving new business sales in line with plant capabilities, covering a territory from Leeds up to the Scottish borders.Key Responsibilities•    Focus on achieving 70% new business and 30% existing business targets.•    Generate new business sales aligned with site capabilities.•    Oversee and nurture relationships with assigned existing customers.•    Regularly update and share the sales pipeline with the team.•    Prepare monthly sales reports highlighting customer activities and new business prospects.•    Participate in 1-to-1 meetings to set and achieve objectives.•    Develop and implement new marketing strategies and explore new market opportunities.•    Cross-sell products to both existing and new customers across all client sites.•    Attend relevant conferences, meetings, and industry events.•    Handle administrative tasks, including using Sales Dashboard or CRM systems.•    Perform any other sales-related activities within your designated area.Experience•    Essential experience in packaging sales, with a preference for timber and heavy-duty packaging.•    Proven success in B2B new business sales.•    Strong technical and analytical skills, with awareness of industry trends and competitors.•    Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective collaboration with management and technical teams.•    Skilled in negotiating to position our client as a unique packaging provider.•    Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT.•    Ambitious, proactive, motivated, and driven.•    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.•    Valid full driving license
