Our TeamWe're delighted to be looking for a Governance Lead to join our busy team in Enterprise Architecture. Reporting into the Governance Architect, you'll be responsible for maturing the architecture governance model, ensuring we have appropriate controls and frameworks in place, and support in evolving and communicating the technology strategy across the enterprise to promote the transformation and alignment to the technology Red Stack.

You'll work closely with Architects, change & delivery colleagues and beyond, including 3rd parties, to ensure project direction and design adhere to our strategic principles and guiderails. If you enjoy working in fast paced environment and you're experienced and passionate with a proven track record of leading, governing and collaborating, with a sound knowledge of technology, then this role is perfect for you!??

What you'll be doingā€¢ Working as part of the team creating the architectural vision for the bankā€¢ Co-ordinating triage for all new initiativesā€¢ Supporting the operation of the architectural governance processes and shaping the future direction of thisā€¢ Leading governance forums and ensure pragmatic, responsible decision makingā€¢ Supporting CIOs, projects & tribes to align with the architecture frameworkā€¢ Shaping pragmatic solutions to guide projects / tribes to achieve their delivery objectivesā€¢ Coordinating departmental roadmaps to create an enterprise view of architectureā€¢ Supporting the assessment of upcoming initiatives and support changeā€¢ Finding ways to optimise the robustness of the governance process ā€¢ Production of MI and reporting delivering insights from the data

We need you to haveā€¢ Significant working experience in technology, preferably within Financial Services, with a high-level understanding of abstracted architectural conceptsā€¢ Proven ability to lead, collaborate and influence across business and technology domainsā€¢ The ability to absorb complex information, anticipating any technical risks and issues, and disseminating this effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.ā€¢ Strong data analysis skills with the ability to understand governance outcomes and derive insights, trends, risks from data to support architecture decisions and progress reportingā€¢ A positive ā€œcan-doā€ attitude with focus on problem solving, service improvement and a desire to learnā€¢ Ability to multi-task, prioritise and take initiative to drive positive outcomesā€¢ Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across departments in cross-functional teams

It's a bonus if you have but not essentialā€¢ Understanding of both waterfall and agile project methodologiesā€¢ Understanding of IT solution architecture and design methodologies / approachesā€¢ An understanding of architectural governance from both technology and business viewpointā€¢ Experience developing within Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps)
