This is a crucial executive leadership opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing to join a major, well-funded group's rapidly expanding, specialist SaaS division. Based on the South Coast of England, our client is cash-rich, boasts an extremely high credit score, and is embarking on an exciting, defined trajectory towards a pre-IPO stage.
The Role of Head of Marketing
- Reporting directly to the board, you will take full ownership of the marketing function, leading and inspiring an established, talented team of ten, mostly very well-established marketing professionals.
- This is a highly strategic and visible role where you will be empowered to take the entire marketing operation to the next level.
- You will devise and implement comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategies encompassing brand positioning, thought leadership, and impactful content creation.
- A key immediate focus will be leveraging the new HubSpot CRM implementation to significantly enhance inbound marketing performance and optimisation of Marketing Automation, SEO, and PPC.
- Furthermore, you will play a vital role in shaping our company culture and reputation by developing and executing a comprehensive internal communications plan focused on talent retention and recruitment.
- You will manage significant budgets, oversee relationships with external agencies, analyse market trends, and ensure all marketing initiatives align with our ambitious business objectives.
To Apply to the Head of Marketing
- We need a seasoned, professional Head of Marketing with a proven track record - likely including at least five years in marketing leadership roles - of successfully managing multifaceted, multidisciplinary marketing teams.
- You must be adept at taking full strategic ownership and possess a deep, practical understanding across the modern marketing mix, particularly SEO, PPC, CRM (specifically HubSpot preferred), and Marketing Automation.
- You are a results-oriented and energetic leader, brimming with ideas and possessing excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Your strategic and analytical capabilities are matched by your proven ability to effectively execute successful marketing initiatives, managing substantial budgets and external suppliers.
- Demonstrable experience in contentmarketing, eventmanagement, digitalchanneloptimisation, and developing client engagement strategies is essential.
- As a self-starter, you can work autonomously to drive projects forward while thriving as a collaborative team player who supports initiatives from conception to completion.
- A relevant marketing degree or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
