A global organisation with sites across the globe is recruiting an HR Assistant to join them on a 12-month FTC. This is an opportunity to join a strong HR Service team located in Newcastle Upon Tyne working hybrid; 2 days on site while working closely with their other People functions within the organisation. Within your new role, you will work within the HR Service Team supporting the full employee lifecycle, while supporting the other HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the shared HR Inbox
  • Being the first point of contact for providing first line advice to HR Advisors, operational and transactional services
  • Support the recruitment team with onboarding of new employees
  • Supporting on the administration duties for salary changes, promotions, family leave, leave of absence tec
  • Process queries on family-friendly policies and benefits, including first-line discussions with employees to explain policy and procedure
  • Ensuring the HR Database is kept up to date

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in being selected, you will require experience of the following;

  • Experience working in a Shared service function or similar
  • Have strong HR Administration experience
  • Understanding of HR administration of the full employee life-cycle events
  • Able to produce HR reports from the HR System
