The purpose of a Lead .Net Developer in this team…
This person is to lead by example in the development of one of the companies biggest SaaS products. By being a role model for others in the team, this will ensure that the team functions smoothly, delivers high-quality software, and continuously improves.
You will consider the long term roadmap, focus on adding value to the product all whilst making it more user friendly and scalable! Â Â
What your day to day will look like…
- As a Lead Developer, you’ll be responsible for three Software Developers and you’ll report directly into the Engineering Manager.
- You’ll work in a hands on capacity developing Full Stack solutions using C#, .Net Core, ASP.NET, SQL, Javascript & Azure.
- You’ll advocate for best practices, efficiency, and champion positive culture within the engineering team.
- You will participate in design and planning sessions, create and maintain appropriate documentation, and stay updated with new technical concepts in software development.
- Sharing your discoveries and knowledge with the wider engineering team will be important, as will collaborating with team members throughout the development lifecycle.Â
Experience required
- Commercial experience using C#, .Net Core, ASP.NET, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL, & Azure.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
- Clear examples of where you have played a Lead role. This could mean you are already in a Lead Developer position or could be a Senior who is ready to take the next step.
- Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
- Ability to manage projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.Â
