We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join an innovative team during an exciting period of technical transformation for this organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our digital infrastructure and driving continuous improvement across our systems.
As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimising our backend and frontend infrastructure in both Azure and AWS environments. As this team grows, your leadership will be crucial in guiding our DevOps engineers and ensuring the highest standards of development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee infrastructure provisioning, management, and monitoring in Azure and AWS.
- Implement and maintain development standards, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and write infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Facilitate team working and collaboration across organizational boundaries.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in a DevOps environment, with a strong background in Azure and AWS.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within budget and timescale.
