Cobalt is working with one of the UK's most reputable student accommodation providers who, due to rapid growth year on year, are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join their team in Newcastle.

You will join this growing team and hit the ground running with assisting the Maintenance Managers with the management of their portfolio in the North of England, all the way down to the South West of England on scheduling both reactive and PPM works which include electrical certs, gas inspections, as well as fire/general risk assessments and handyman fixes too.

This is an opportunity that can give you the exposure and experience to progress up the ladder internally in a role, where there is no ceiling to limit your development.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the diaries of Maintenance Managers

  • Scheduling of both reactive and PPM works for the portfolio

  • Prioritising and utilising Maintenance Managers/external contractors for necessary works

  • Utilise their internal software to ensure it is effective

Requirements for this role:

  • Experience in scheduling contractors' workload by priority

  • Proven experience in a similar type position

  • Experience working under pressure on your own or as part of a team

  • Proven experience with a CAFM software for both reactive and ppm works

  • An understanding of H&S, FRA & GRA regulations
