A well established Engineering business, based in the Newcastle area, they are continuing to win new work with new and existing clients. This Master Scheduler role has been created to support their ongoing success. The RoleThis is a key role working closely with the project team to ensure success. Some of the key responsibilities will be:
  • Develop and maintain the master project schedule to ensure optimal resource allocation and on-time delivery for live projects and projects identified in the sales forecast.
  • Consolidate the individual project plans from the Project Planners and assess the risks, conflicts, resource allocation constraints and report to the business leads.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align schedules with operational capabilities
  • Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings, presenting data and insights to stakeholders to drive alignment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to supply chain continuity and production schedules.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of planning processes.
The PersonWe are keen to speak to candidates who have demonstrable experience in scheduling with the addition of having managed a team of planners.Accountability for running an S&OP process is also desirable along with strong analytical and problem solving skills
