At Prospero Teaching, we are currently looking for Tutors experienced in providing tuition to KS1/KS2 students, using a flexible creative and nurturing approach. You will be making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk students in the early years of their educational journey. The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic and be able to create/deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis.


We currently have roles within Newcastle, as well as the surrounding areas.


It is Prospero's mission to deliver high quality and engaging support to young people across the UK. As such, we are looking for a tutor who can offer personalised, enjoyable lessons whilst being re-engage these students into education and bring structure into their daily routine.


About the role:


Within a students home/suitable venue
Tuition focused on Numeracy and Literacy
Positions available for the start of the Academic Year
Full time or part time hours available
GBP25 - GBP30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Flexible hours to suit your availability and that of the young person


The ideal candidate will:


Hold a QTS or equivalent
Have Tutoring experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils


What we need from you:


Hold a Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references.
