Retrofit Assessor
Field-based role covering Newcastle & the North East

Search Consultancy are currently working exclusively with one of our key clients to recruit this Field based role covering Newcastle & the North East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing Retrofit Assessments on properties across the area, assessing property eligibility and suitable measures that are appropriate for the properties and producing Energy Performance Certificates & other related documentation.

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Delivering consistent, high quality and impartial assessments of properties
* Assessing & confirming suitable & appropriate measures for each property
* Liaising with customers to discuss findings & next steps
* Completing Energy Performance Certificate checks, as well as other technical assessments
* Ensuring all points on assessment reports are fully completed & accurate
* Maintaining records of findings of each assessment including photographic documentation
* Identifying any areas of concern regarding findings including poor ventilation, dampness etc and recording these in reports
* Liaising with installers regarding works
* Providing the highest level of customer service at all times when dealing with customers, specifically when in their properties
* Provide energy efficiency advice to customers wherever possible

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) Accreditation with experience in Retrofit assessments and providing energy efficiency advice
* Experience in property inspections including energy efficiency, loft insulation and boroscope inspections would be massively beneficial
* Excellent communication & customer service skills - both written & verbal - with the ability to deal with customers at all levels including vulnerable customers
