We have a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and varied manufacturing environment as a Sales Administrator. Working with a small, close-knit team, you will be part of something special, where everyone truly mucks in together to get the job done!

Our client, a highly successful family-owned business, is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. This is a role that offers variety and the chance to make a real difference in a supportive environment.

  • Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne - free parking onsite
  • Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 9am-4pm - 36.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £23,000 - which will be reviewed in 3 months

As a Sales Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders from start to finish, ensuring orders are completed accurately and dispatching goods to customers.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers.
  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Handling telephone inquiries efficiently and professionally.
  • Filing and general office duties.
  • Picking orders for despatch.
  • Labelling products.
  • Checking deliveries against delivery notes and updating stock records.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with Sage 50 (training provided).
  • Sales administration or order dispatch background (desirable).
  • A flexible approach to work.
