About the Role

This is a practical, technical role requiring a strong technical skill set combined with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. As a Senior EUC Engineer, you will be a key member of the Technical Operations team, responsible for technical project implementation, providing 3rd line BAU support, and handling technical escalations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deployment, support, and management of the EUC estate, including Windows desktops, application delivery via RDS, and mobile/virtual builds.
  • Designing and delivering Microsoft OS solutions.
  • Expertise in application packaging and automation using PowerShell scripting.

This role is well-suited for professionals with a solid foundation in technical engineering, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to excel in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Windows 10 Management: Design, plan, and maintain Windows 10 deployments, including regular servicing, vulnerability management, and integration of security baselines.
  • Software Deployment: Scope, design, and deploy software packages and Windows Endpoint Builds using tools such as ECM/Intune, AirWatch, Microsoft App-V, and Active Directory Group Policies.
  • EUC Toolset Ownership: Manage and maintain the EUC toolset, including Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune Co-management.
  • Application Management: Oversee application packaging, delivery, and lifecycle management.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain and develop Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS) infrastructure.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure security compliance across the EUC estate and execute vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Mobile Device Management: Manage mobile devices using AirWatch and Intune.
  • Evergreen Strategy: Maintain an evergreen approach to the EUC estate for head office and Operating Companies.
  • Support and Escalation: Provide 3rd line BAU support and manage escalations.
  • Documentation: Document all solutions and processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Critical Systems Support: Participate in a rotational 24x7 support schedule for critical production systems.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share domain and technical expertise, mentor peers, and conduct cross-training sessions.
