Our Client:Nigel Wright are very pleased to be working with a world-class manufacturing plant near Newcastle, looking to recruit an experienced Snr HSE Specialist to join their team.The opportunity:The Snr SHE Specialist will report directly into the Director of EHS and will act as next in command within the SHE team.  You will be supporting the delivery of the business SHE strategy across site to achieve targets, managing and maintaining the SHE management systems as well as taking an active involvement in site-base projects with various teams.About you:
  • Must have previous experience in an HSE Lead role for an industrial manufacturing plant, mechanical safety would be an advantage
  • NEBOSH diploma preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental regulations
  • Ability to audit and manage key stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Well developed communication skills, able to give confidence, challenge and influence across all levels
  • People and team-working approach, experience managing projects and mentoring/developing others
  • Self motivated and able to pro-actively and effectively identify areas of safety improvement
