Job Description:
As a Trainee Electrical Estimator, you will work closely with our experienced estimating team to assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and grow your career in electrical estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing project specifications and drawings to understand the electrical requirements
  • Learn to prepare cost estimates by analysing materials, labour, and time requirements
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing information
  • Support in preparing bid proposals and documentation for submission
  • Track and manage project costs and update estimates as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in the electrical and construction industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems (advantageous but not essential)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
