- Attending all company buildings, predominantly in and around the north east
- Fire alarm and emergency light testing at company buildings
- Performing maintenance and light repairs that may not require a specialised technician
- Identifying and reporting the need for more significant repairs
- Making sure the properties are well presented and clear of litter etc.
- Performing routine landscaping on the grounds
- Clearing out rain gutters and ensuring gullies, drains etc. are kept free of debris
- Assisting tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC
- There may be a requirement for lifting heavy products or parcels and loading and unloading
- Undertaking porterage tasks as required, including setting up and clearing away furniture
- Handling cash from car park machines and depositing at the Post Office
- Delivering & collecting documents in and around Newcastle
- Preparing, inspecting and maintaining the delivery vehicle, also cleaning company cars
- Driving safely and following all laws and rules of driving maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- Good local road knowledge
- Undertaking duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Adhering to lone working requirements
