Job Description:

Are you an experienced social worker committed to supporting children in care and care leavers?
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing the necessary care and guidance to help these young people achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of children in care and care leavers, ensuring their needs are thoroughly assessed and addressed.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that promote well-being, stability, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and other professionals to coordinate services and resources.
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of children in care and care leavers, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care and leaving care.


Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in a social work role, particularly working with children in care and care leavers.
  • Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care and leaving care.
