You will need to be a compassionate MFL graduate who has worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role and received a 2:1 or above in your degree. The successful candidate will have a supportive and nurturing character which will allow each pupil to reach their pinnacle levels of success.

The successful candidate will have the ability to combine a selection of communication skills including nonverbal and engaged listening. We want to see graduates with the drive to enthuse and excite their students with an interesting curriculum that make their subject come to life.

In this MFL Teaching Assistant position you will be working throughout the dedicated MFL department. Your duties will include helping students through providing 1:1 support and leading group sessions and working in classes across the department. You will gain excellent lesson planning skills as you work closely with the class teacher in helping to devise a lesson that is accessible to pupils of all abilities.

These secondary schools, found in Newcastle, are easily commutable, with ample parking for drivers and excellent public transport links.
