The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are seeking to employ a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join their team from April 2025. The ideal candidate will be expected to cover across Early Years – Key Stage 2, mainly covering foundation subjects and must be confident with the Primary curriculum. This is a full-time role, continuing until the end of the academic year and the school has excellent public transport routes.

Requirements

The desired Higher-Level Teaching Assistant will:
- Preferably have experience of working across EYFS – KS2.
- Preferably hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or above.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
