The School and Role
A Primary School based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work full-time from January 2025. The ideal candidate will be confident with the KS2 curriculum and offering support across Year 5 and 6. This role will include a mix of whole class and small group support throughout the course of the week, working alongside the class teacher to offer differentiated learning. This is a long-term role with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:
- Preferably have experience of working with Key Stage 2.
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification or above.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
