The School and Role

A large Primary School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are seeking to employ an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their passionate team. The successful applicant will be offering general support in a Year 5 class and be able to confidently support with all subjects in the Primary curriculum. The school is situated in the West End of Newcastle, with excellent public transport routes and a Level 2 or above in Supporting Teaching and Learning is essential.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

-          Preferably have experience of working with KS2.

-          Hold a Level 2 Teaching Qualification or above.

-          Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-          Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.

-          Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
