Job Description:

Are you an experienced social worker with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities?
In this role, you will oversee team operations, manage complex cases, and ensure the effective delivery of specialized services.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the Learning Disabilities Team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Conducting and overseeing comprehensive assessments and care plans to meet the unique needs and goals of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and enhance care.
  • Monitoring team performance, implementing improvements, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a social work role, with significant experience in a leadership or management position.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
