Role Overview

We are hiring female domiciliary care workers - Drivers are essential to the post.

Salary: Starting at 11.66 - 13.30 per hour, plus travel time, mileage costs, and enhancements for bank holidays.

Hours of Work: Split shifts available - between 7am-11pm, Monday to Sunday (alternate weekends and evening work will be required as part of the team rolling rota).

Domiciliary Care Worker Duties:

  • Confidently support people in a person-centred way
  • Carry out personal care, including bathing and toileting support
  • Manage medication
  • Prepare meals and drinks
  • Assist people into the community using public transport
  • Attend training and team meetings
  • Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required

Essential Skills

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous work experience in domiciliary care worker, home care assistant, residential care assistant/ hospital care assistant, carer, support worker, or similar role
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills as described in the main responsibilities
  • Able to follow instructions on both written and electronic care plans/rostering systems
  • Literate in spoken and written English
  • Full UK Driving Licence and car Insurance to meet job requirements
  • Update Service Adult Workforce Enhanced DBS (Highly desirable)
