Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to create effective recruitment and talent selection plans, aimed at attracting and retaining top talent
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create job adverts for open roles
  • Promote vacancies across the career's pages, job boards, and social media platforms
  • Foster strong relationships with recruitment agencies to ensure the successful filling of specialist positions
  • Manage the existing Preferred Supplier List (PSL) of external recruitment agencies, ensuring all rates and terms of business are kept up to date
  • Screen CVs, share suitable candidates with hiring managers, and provide regular updates to applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Oversee the management of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all candidate information and recruitment activities are recorded
  • Identify and headhunt potential candidates
  • Organise interviews, coordinate all communications, and manage internal diaries
  • Advise managers on best interview practices and techniques
  • Coordinate all interview processes and evaluate candidates with hiring managers
  • Prepare and send offer letters and contracts
  • Gather employment references and coordinate new hires' start dates
  • Lead the onboarding and induction processes, as well as monitoring new hires during their probationary period to ensure a smooth transition
  • Develop partnerships with universities, professional bodies, and external organisations to deliver work experience and early career programmes
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a strong recruitment brand, and actively promote the business as an employer of choice
  • Ensure transparency and fairness in all internal recruitment activities
  • Provide regular reports and management information
  • Assist HR and operations with various admin tasks

Profile

  • A strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and candidate selection, to onboarding and retention
  • Previous experience in either internal or agency recruitment
  • Experience of recruiting within business or professional services is preferred
  • Proficient in HR systems, including an Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
