At Prospero Teaching, we are looking for tutors to work with schools, Local Authorities and Virtual Schooling Teams across Newcastle.


As well as private enquires we work mainly with Local Authorities and students who are often experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The ideal candidate will have experience working with these difficulties.


We are building a strong, professional and reliable team in Newcastle, if you hold a certificate in education or above and have a passion for working with a variety of young learners then we would love for you to join our team!


The successful candidate will be good at working independently when tutoring off site therefore it is vital that they are organised, punctual and reliable, we have grown through or reputation so it is essential that this continues.


About the role:
Online or in person
From the beginning of the academic year
Full time/part time
GBP25 - GBP30 depending on qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate will have:
QTS or equivalent
Tutoring experience
Patient, empathetic and creative
Experience working with SEMH & SEN


Essential for the role:
A valid Right to Work
An Enhanced Children's DBS on the update service, or the ability to complete one
A minimum of two references to cover the last two years of employment
