Job
The role of HR Adviser will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Assisting in the management of HR services, policies, and strategies
- Advising employees on HR issues
- Developing and maintaining communication with managers, colleagues, and external parties
- Managing recruitment and on-boarding processes
- Consulting on workplace relations, performance management and training
- Handling payroll administration
- Overseeing grievance and disciplinary procedures
- Conducting exit interviews
- Producing HR reports and contributing to projects
- Keeping up-to-date with HR best practices and employment legislation
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with legal bodies
- Improving HR systems and practices
- Regular branch and office visits, including travel to Scotland and England
You
As an HR Adviser you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Significant experience in a generalist HR role
- Solid knowledge of employment law and legislation
- Proven advice and support to management on strategic HR matters
- Expertise in leading HR projects and implementing new initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Understanding of HR policies and best practice on recruitment and selection
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Organisational skill to structure workloads effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Drivers Licence (desirable)
- Human Resources or related degree, or CIPD qualification at minimum level 5 (desirable)
