Your new companyI am delighted to be supporting a lovely client of mine located in Newcastle Upon Tyne on the recruitment of an HR Advisor to join their HR Advisory team in a permanent position working alongside the wider HR team. This is a global organisation with a fabulous HR team looking to add an additional head to the team to support a wide range of HR activities across the group. The role offers hybrid working. Your new roleIn your new role you will work closely within the HR Advisory team to support a range of stakeholders on the delivery of expert advice and support, while coaching managers around the organisations people policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Upskilling managers on employee relations processes
  • Providing advice and support while coaching managers on the delivery of ER processes; disciplinary, grievance, sickness and performance management
  • Reporting and analysing data and producing monthly MI dashboards; identifying trends and patterns from the data analysis
  • Oversee the sickness absence management
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in an HR Generalist role previously
  • Able to support on complex ER cases, while providing advice to managers on various people-related issues
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to influence and manage expectations
  • Strong Employment Law knowledge
  • Understanding people best practices, processes and systems
