HR Advisor

A leading organization is seeking an HR Advisor to provide exceptional support to its production team in the North. This site-based role will also collaborate with nearby locations and the wider HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer first-line HR advice and guidance.
  • Create and post job adverts; manage the recruitment inbox and CV screening.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up interviews with candidates alongside hiring managers.
  • Handle reference checks and provide candidate feedback.
  • Initiate new starter processes, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Conduct right to work checks and arrange new starter inductions.
  • Maintain training records and arrange training courses.
  • Schedule probationary reviews and appraisals.
  • Provide HR support and advice to employees and managers.
  • Organize company social events and manage communication for the company magazine.
  • Conduct exit interviews and report relevant issues.
  • Manage employee issues using iHCM and RealTime.
  • Analyse employee statistics and support disciplinary meetings.
  • Foster a supportive environment by building rapport with employees.
  • Uphold confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in HRM or related field.
  • CIPD Level 5 certification desirable. 
  • Flexibility to travel to other sites as needed (North East) 

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HR management systems.
