HR Assistant (Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months)

Are you passionate about Human Resources and eager to make a positive impact? We are looking for a motivated individual to provide essential support to our clients HR team, ensuring a professional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Position Details:

  • Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until October
  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Working Pattern: Full Time (36 hours per week)
  • Location: NE3 - parking available onsite and extremely accessible via Public Transport
  • Salary: up to 30,000 depending on experience

What You'll Do:


As an HR Assistant, you will be at the heart of the HR operations, helping to shape our clients workplace culture. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Offering comprehensive first-line HR advice to employees on practises, policies, and procedures.
  • Managing the full recruitment administration process using our e-recruitment system, from crafting job adverts to extending job offers.
  • Attending external events to promote our organisation's brand.
  • Overseeing occupational health administration and liaising with our OH provider to ensure smooth operations.
  • Managing ad-hoc occupational health provisions like flu jabs and health checks.
  • Maintaining HR information systems to assist in producing vital HR data and statistics.
  • Ensuring employee personal records are managed in compliance with GDPR, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Supporting the HR Manager with the annual performance development review process.
  • Providing administrative support to various HR projects and undertaking additional duties as required.
